This course is for motivated students in grades 5-7 who are accelerating through school math and ready for a full first course in algebra. Difficulty is slightly above a standard Algebra 1 class.
Common Core aligned, fully covers CCSS Algebra 1 standards (California traditional pathway), making it easier to request school credit or course placement at your district's discretion. Linear functions, systems, exponents, polynomials, factoring, quadratics, and an introduction to statistics, the full first course in algebra, done thinking-first.
