Master Courses Overview

AlphaStar Academy offers free, year-long Master Courses designed for high-achieving students, focusing on dedication and teamwork to excel in prestigious competitions. These courses are tailored for exceptional students in grades 4-12 and are available both online and in person in the San Francisco Bay Area. This unique setting allows students to collaborate with peers who share a passion for math and computer science.

Our Master Courses prepare students and teams for renowned individual and team competitions, such as MATHCOUNTS, the American Mathematics Competitions, the USA Math and Computer Science Olympiads (USAMO and USACO), the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament, and the Stanford Math Tournament. The courses emphasize teamwork, engaging students in collaborative problem-solving sessions. This approach not only enhances their ability to work effectively in team settings but also fosters a strong sense of community, enabling participants to build lasting relationships and share diverse strategies for tackling complex problems.

Our teams consistently place in the top three, and our students have earned top awards at major competitions, including the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament, Berkeley Math Tournament, Caltech Math Meet, and Stanford Math Tournament. Additionally, our Master Course students have won several medals at international math and computer science competitions and Olympiads.
