AlphaStar is thrilled to offer a diverse selection of Master Classes designed to accommodate both online and in-person students. With a proven track record of success, these classes aim to prepare AlphaStar teams and individuals for prestigious math competitions.
Online Master Classes will be accessible to students across the United States and Canada, while in-person classes will be held exclusively in the San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA), providing an engaging learning experience for local students.
Our Master Classes have been instrumental in guiding AlphaStar teams and individual students to achieve top rankings in renowned math competitions. Below are some of our recent accomplishments:
- 1st place team at the 2025 Harvard MIT Math Tournament – February (HMMT)
- 4th place team at the 2026 Harvard MIT Math Tournament – February (HMMT)
- 2nd and 5th place teams at the 2025 Berkeley Math Tournament (BMT)
- 1st, 2nd, and 6th place teams at the 2026 Caltech Math Meet
- 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 8th place teams at the 2026 Berkeley mini Math Tournament (BmMT)
- 1st and 2nd place in the 6th-grade division, 3rd and 4th in the 7th-grade division, and 1st place in the 8th-grade division at the 2026 Mustang Math Tournament – NorCal (MMT)
- 1st and 2nd place team at 2025-26 ARML Power (joint with SFBA ARML)
- 1st place team at 2025 ARML Local (joint with SFBA ARML)
- 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 9th place team at 2026 ARML Local (joint with SFBA ARML)

Application
We encourage students to apply promptly. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis beginning May 27th, 2026 and will continue until the class is full. If you don’t receive a decision within a month of applying or by early August, kindly reach out to us via email.
By registering, the student and parent/guardian agree to the terms of the
Math Master Courses Participation Agreement.
