2023 November Contests:

AlphaStar Academy is offering 2023 AMC 10/12 A/B November contests. As per new AMC regulations, we will offer it only in-person, in Cupertino, CA.

Who can take AMC 10/12:

The AMC 10 is for students in 10th grade and below, and covers the high school curriculum up to 10th grade. Students in grade 10 or below and under 17.5 years of age on the day of the contest can take the AMC 10. The AMC 12 covers the entire high school curriculum including trigonometry, advanced algebra, and advanced geometry, but excluding calculus. Students in grade 12 or below and under 19.5 years of age on the day of the contest can take the AMC 12.

A participant can register for both competition dates (A and B) but can only take one competition (10 or 12) per competition date. For example, a student cannot register for AMC 10A and AMC 12A but they can register for AMC 10A and AMC 12B.

Special Accommodations:

Students with special accommodations (requesting extra time from AMC) should register only for the last session. They have to email us by October 15th with supporting documents for special accommodation.

Important Dates:

Registration Deadline: October 25, 2023

Location: 10120 N De Anza Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014. Students will come 10 minutes before their test period.

Fee: $25 per contest (no cancellation)

Contest Dates, Times, and Registration:

For each contest date (Nov 8th and 14th), you can only register for one exam. Do NOT register for both sessions or both AMC 10 and AMC 12 exams on the same day.
