AlphaStar is thrilled to offer a diverse selection of Master Classes for the 2024-25 academic year, designed to accommodate both online and in-person students. With a proven track record of success, these classes aim to prepare AlphaStar teams and individuals for prestigious math competitions.
Online Master Classes will be accessible to students across the United States and Canada, while in-person classes will be held exclusively in the San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA), providing an engaging learning experience for local students.
Our Master Classes have been instrumental in guiding AlphaStar teams and individual students to achieve top rankings in renowned math competitions. Below are some of our recent accomplishments:
- 1st place team at the 2025 Harvard MIT Math Tournament – February (HMMT)
- 1st and 2nd place teams at the 2024 Berkeley Math Tournament (BMT)
- 1st and 3rd place teams at the 2025 Caltech Harvey Mudd Math Competition (CHMMC)
- 1st and 2nd place teams at the 2025 Berkeley mini Math Tournament (BmMT)
- 1st place teams in all divisions at the 2025 Mustang Math Tournament – NorCal (MMT)
- 1st place team at 2024-25 ARML Power (joint with SFBA ARML)
- 1st place team at 2025 ARML Local (joint with SFBA ARML)

Fee
Master Classes are offered at no cost; however, enrollment is subject to the approval of the course instructor.
Application
We encourage students to apply promptly. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis beginning May 25th and will continue until the class is full. If you don’t receive a decision within a month of applying or by early August, kindly reach out to us via email.
By registering, the student and parent/guardian agree to the terms of the
Math Master Courses Participation Agreement.
